Description

Donald's Golf Game Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). "Ah, what a perfect day for the perfect game of golf." This wonderful 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing of Donald from the 1938 short Donald's Golf Game features the duck in his best golf attire. The animation was directed by Jack King (1895 - 1958) and follows Donald playing a game of golf while his nephews tag along as his caddies. This was the first and only short to give Huey, Dewey, and Louie red, orange, and yellow outfits, though the colors were changed back soon after. Donald's expression is as frustrated as usual as he glares at the singing bird above him, trying to ensure everything is quiet for his drive. This moment can be found at about the 1:15 mark of the short. Donald measures about 4.25'' x 4.25'' and is rendered in graphite. The page is numbered 3 and has light age-related toning in addition to a small fold in the bottom left. Minor edge and handling wear. Very Good condition.
