    Donald's Cousin Gus Gus Goose Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). Donald's freeloading Cousin Gus is about to crochet himself a spaghetti dinner, in this fun original animation drawing from the Donald Duck cartoon directed by Jack King. Aside from featuring a very rare character, this cartoon has true historical significance as it was the first ever pre-recorded film to be televised in the United States, airing as part of NBC's "first night" of sponsored programming on May 3, 1939. It's an enormous image of Gus, drawn in graphite and red pencil, measuring 7.5" x 3" on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper, and with C-38 written in the lower right corner. The paper shows some minor handling; otherwise Condition is Fine.
