Donald's Cousin Gus Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). In Donald's Cousin Gus, Donald Duck is visited by his cousin, Gus Goose, who has a voracious appetite and proceeds to eat Donald out of house and home. This short subject film, produced by Walt Disney, was released on 5/3/39. It features Clarence Nash as the voice of Donald Duck with animation by Dick Lundy who is remembered as one of the creators of Donald Duck. Story writing credits go to Jack Hannah and Disney Legend Inductee, Carl Barks. This is a superb piece of vintage animation art which can be seen around the 3:05 mark as Gus is about to use his knitting needles to knit the spaghetti into a sock and eat it! The image of Cousin Gus measures 8" x 6" and was crafted using graphite and colored pencil on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. Edge wear and mild paper toning due to the age of the art. Very Good condition.
