    Description

Donald Duck Production Drawing Animation Art (Disney, c. 1930s). Donald Duck loses his temper (again), in this original drawing from an unidentified 1930s short (which we mistakenly had listed as from Orphan's Benefit). Drawn in graphite and red pencil on a 12 field, 5-peghole sheet of animation paper numbered 21 in the lower right. Fine condition.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
