This is a pair of original animation drawings of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck from the short directed by David Hand and released on 11/17/34. In it, Mickey and Donald were motorcycle cops chasing Dognapper - Peg Leg Pete and was only the third theatrical appearance for Donald Duck. He measures 4.5" x 3" is rendered in graphite on 12-field, 2 peg hole animation paper and is numbered 34A in the bottom right corner. The second drawing is of a rare long-billed Donald who has just been jettisoned from his sidecar as Mickey takes off in pursuit of Pete. He is in full-figure and measures 2.5" x 3" with smoke effects filling the page beneath hi. He too is rendered in graphite on 12-field, 2 peg hole animation paper and is numbered 249 in the lower right corner. Both show tanning and minor handling; otherwise Condition is Fine.
