Doctor Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Cindy Lou Who Storyboard (MGM, 1966). "He saw a small Who... Cindy Lou Who... who was no more than two!" This is an outstanding rare original storyboard drawing of Cindy Lou Who as she spots the Grinch in his Santa suit and asks "Why are you taking our Christmas tree... why?" This littlest Whovillian makes her first appearance with the Grinch onscreen at around the 15:39 mark into the short. This adorable early character design image is in graphite and watercolor or marker on MGM/Visual Arts Storyboard panel paper, hand-signed by Maurice Noble (1911 - 2001), the man in charge of the special's Production Design. Also adding a signature is the "First Lady of Animation" and the voice of Cindy Lou, Ms. June Foray! Magnificently framed using Plexiglas, with a mat opening of 13" x 14", while the storyboard measures 6" x 6". A Linda Jones COA is included on the back of the frame. Fine condition.
