    Disney Consumer Products Concept Art Group of 21 (Walt Disney, c.1980-90s).
    This is original illustration artwork for Disney Consumer Products by Paul Wenzel. Paul was a Disney artist for 42 years, creating over 100 movie posters during his tenure as a designer and illustrator for the Motion Picture Advertising Department at Disney. Wenzel was Disney Consumer Products' first Art Director for their creative publishing team. 20 of the pieces in this lot were rendered in graphite on onionskin paper in a variety of sizes averaging 9" x 11". The assortment features all of the Fab Five characters plus Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and Dumbo. One piece is a hand-inked 12 field character model cel featuring Donald Duck. The cel is affixed to an illustration board of 15" x 12". Some pieces have creases in the corners or tears in the page well away from the image areas. This assortment of very rare drawings are from Paul Wenzel's personal collection. Good condition.
