Description

Cool Cat Animation Drawing (Warner Brothers, 1960s). This large, beautifully posed drawing of one of Warner Brothers hep new characters for the 60's. Cool Cat (voiced by Larry Storch) spoke in 1960s-style beatnik slang and acted much like a stereotypical laid-back teenager - strumming a guitar or cruising in his dune buggy. The image stands approximately 8.25" tall, on 12 field, 3-peghole animation paper. Small area where tape was removed on the bottom edge and basic handling; otherwise condition is fine. Hand-drawn by long-time Warner Brothers Animation director -- Robert McKimson Sr. (1910 - 1977). A signed letter of authenticity from the artist's son -- Robert McKimson Jr. detailing its provenance is included.
