Color the Leader Cover Illustration Beauty and the Beast - Belle Original Art (Modern Publishers/Walt Disney, c. 1990s). With no production cels used in Beauty and the Beast, original artwork tied to this film is very hard to find. This is an amazing one of a kind published original painting of Belle with the Rose! It was used as the cover art for Modern Publisher's Color the Leader Disney Activity Book. Produced in gouache on 11" x 15" board and wonderfully matted with an image area of 8" x 9". Belle is 6" tall in the painting. This was first sold by "The Art of Disney Storybooks/Disney Publishing" through Disney eBay in 2001. There is a Disney COA on back of the frame. Impressive and rare, it is handsomely framed to 18.5" x 20" and in Fine condition.Auction Info
