Description

Cinderella Grand Duke, Lady Tremaine, and Footman Original Storyboard Art Group of 5 (Walt Disney, 1950). "Quiet, my dear. We mustn't disturb his Grace." The Grand Duke tries his best to stay awake during his visit to the Tremaine household but it's a losing battle in this group of five amazing original storyboards from Cinderella. The group are all rendered in pastel on 5.25'' x 4'' paper by one of the incredible story artists on the film: Bill Peet, Ken Anderson, Ted Sears, Homer Brightman, and Joe Rinaldi. The earliest storyboard of Lady Tremaine was created for about 1:04:54 as she welcomes the Grand Duke into their home and the remaining storyboards capture certain scenes during his stay like his reading of the royal proclamation, the Footman catching him with a chair, and dozing off while the Footman tries to get Anastasia's foot to fit into the glass slipper. They all add to the tense atmosphere that makes Cinderella's escape and return with the other glass slipper even more rewarding. Good to Very Good condition overall with pinholes, faint edge and handling wear, light toning, and minor pastel smudging.
