    Chuck Jones Bugs Bunny Painting (c. 1989). "Draw me like one of your French girls." The line may be from the movie Titanic, but we can hear it in Bugs Bunny's voice just fine! With a five year Smithsonian tour called "What's Up Doc? -- The Art of Chuck Jones" underway, the artwork of master animator Chuck Jones (1912-2002) has never been more relevant. This is a rare master oil painting of that wascally wabbit, Bugs Bunny, and is one of the highest quality Chuck Jones original paintings we have ever seen. The stretched canvas is framed with an inner opening of 23.5" x 17.5". Bugs himself is a mind-blowing 16.5" x 11"! Jones was an Academy Award-winning animator and director, but also a producer, studio head, and most importantly an artist. This piece showcases the true Art of Chuck Jones. Signed by Jones in the lower right area. In Fine condition.
