    Chuck Jones - Bugs Bunny and Friends Color Painting (Warner Brothers, c. 1990s). It's DUCK Season! No, it's RABBIT Season! This classic Bugs and Daffy confrontation was from the 1951 Chuck Jones-directed short "Rabbit Fire." Written by Mike Maltese, it was the first cartoon to feature a feud between Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. It also was the first of the "Hunting Trilogy," along with "Rabbit Seasoning" and "Duck Rabbit, Duck!" This classic routine is used as the gag of this amazing one-of-a-kind Chuck Jones original graphite and watercolor painting of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Road Runner, Wile E Coyote, Porky Pig, Pepe Le Pew, and Marvin Martian. Each character is holding their version of the Duck Season/Rabbit Season sign/gag. Amazing detail to each and every character. This is a painting that Chuck Jones took extreme pride with. Eight classic Looney Tunes characters in an array of color, painted on Somerset rag acid-free art paper of 11" x 14". Floated inside a Plexiglas-front frame. Signed by Chuck Jones in the bottom right corner. One of the most prized Jones art pieces we have come across. Linda Jones Letter of authenticity included. Fine
