    Description

Chow Hound Private Snafu Animation Drawing (Warner Brothers, 1944). "I'd follow Snafu... and I'd feed him!" says the Bull who narrates this short about the importance of getting food to the troops. A very rare trimmed animation drawing of Private Snafu. This is from the Frank Tashlin-directed World War II propaganda short that was released on 6/1/44, The bottom of the trimmed drawing says "Bobo Cannon" who may have animated this scene. A great image of Snafu that can be seen at about the 3:43 mark in the short, when he realizes that he is full after asking for too much food. A graphite and red pencil image of 4.5". In Fine condition.
