Charlie Brown/Peanuts Ford Falcon Commercial "Snoopy" Production Drawing Group (Playhouse Pictures, c. early 1960s). Snoopy is decked out in a Hawaiian shirt as he beats the drums for the Ford Falcon, in this rare set of seven layout production drawings. All are in green and red pencil on 12-field animation paper. The commercial's narration is noted in the lower right: "Gas Mileage for a 4 or 8," "Year History of the Run," "Got the Best," and "Tops in the Twenty," with the last two captionless. Snoopy averages 3" in all. Good condition, with assorted stains and a glued-on original replacement drawing on the final page with heavy rubber cement stains. Historic use of Peanuts in advertising!
