    Description

    Cat Fishing Tom Cat Animation Drawing (MGM, 1947). A 12 field animation drawing of Tom Cat, in blue graphite with Pete Burness' signature along the bottom edge and "#51" in the lower right corner. A terrific, huge 8" x 10" image of Tom Cat with fishing pole. This is from the 27th Tom and Jerry cartoon, directed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera. It was Burness who worked at MGM and animated this short before moving to UPA, where he won Academy Awards for his direction on the Mr. Magoo cartoons. In Very Good condition with light handling and edge wear.
