Castle in the Sky Sheeta Layout Drawing (Studio Ghibli, 1986). Sheeta, the emblematic lead female character from Studio Ghibli's Castle in the Sky, enjoys a well-deserved rest in the fantastic rough animation drawing presented in this lot. After being chased by air pirates and held hostage by Colonel Muska, Sheeta finally escapes, falling from the aircraft; her fall is stopped by her crystal, allowing her to land safely in Pazu's arms. Similar to the image seen at the 11:11 mark of the movie, this rough animation drawing shows the character resting on a pillow and covered in blankets, rendered in graphite and color pencils, with an overall image size of 12.5" x 6" on the Studio Ghibli layout sheet. As a bonus, the lot includes a studio-printed copy of the layout drawing for this cut, numbered 131 on the top edge. The drawing shows a red mark on the bottom edge, staple holes on the top corners, and faint fold creases. Presenting overall minor age-related toning and light handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.
