Carl Barks "Somebody's Farm" Study Painting (1968). On his retirement from Western Publishing in 1966, the "Good Duck Artist" turned his attention to creating paintings of landscapes and other subjects, which he sold at local art shows to supplement his pension. Here is his original study painting for "Somebody's Farm," which was originally sold in 2007 at the Estate of Carl Barks Auction. The painting is in oils on canvas board measuring 16" x 12". The backside has "pre-study to 'Somebody's Farm (#30-68)." Signed in the lower left corner. Fine condition, with minor edge wear.
