Carl Barks and Peter Ledger Uncle Scrooge McDuck: His Life and Times Signed Production Art (Celestial Arts, 1981). An original hand-colored production art page from the Carl Barks story, "Land Beneath the Ground," which originally appeared in Uncle Scrooge #13 (Dell, 1953). Artist Peter Ledger applied airbrush and colored inks to a blueline of the original Barks artwork to produce the lush colors in the deluxe leather bound book. This dramatic production piece is from page 19 of the story, and features both "Terries" and "Fermies," the underground creatures the Ducks encounter. It has an approximate image size of 9.5" x 14", and includes an acetate overlay with the black line art, matted together for an overall size of 14.25" x 19.25". Fine condition.
