Canine Caddy Pair of Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawings (Walt Disney, 1941).
"Ah, what a swell day for a game of golf!" In Canine Caddy, Mickey goes golfing with Pluto serving as his caddy. Pluto at first causes distractions for Mickey, but helps him out by pointing to the ball just like he learned in The Pointer. Later Pluto encounters a mischievous gopher whom he chases burrowing through the ground in this short subject film directed by Clyde Geronimi and released to theaters on 5/30/41. Walt Disney provided the voice for Mickey along with Pinto Colvig as Pluto. From Canine Caddy we have two vintage animation drawings; one of Mickey and one of Pluto. The Mickey image measures 4.25" tall with Pluto measuring 7" x 4". You will see the image of Mickey around the 1:46 mark and the Pluto image around the 2:33 mark. The drawings were rendered in graphite and colored pencil on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. The Mickey drawing is stamped with "Art Props 2262 SC.16". Mild toning of the paper due to the age of the piece. The Pluto drawing has a 5-peghole strip taped to the bottom portion of the page. Artwork is in Good condition.
