Description
Camping Out Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1934). "Mickey, look!" Minnie shouts, pointing at the cloud of bugs rushing towards them. This wonderful 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing is from the 1934 Disney animated short Camping Out. The short premiered on 2/17/1934 and was directed by David Hand (1900 - 1986). It follows Mickey, Minnie, Clarabelle Cow, and Horace Horsecollar on their camping trip that soon becomes a bug infested battle. The graphite animation drawing focuses on a flower hat clad Minnie with a banjo and Mickey with a harmonica. She points at the approaching army of bugs, while Mickey drops his instrument in surprise. This drawing looks to have been made for the scene at about 3:06, though it was changed for the final version of the short. It is labeled 37A and the figures combined measure a total of about 6'' x 3.25''. It is displayed in 11.5'' x 8.5'' mat window in a 20'' x 17'' frame. All frames are sold as-is.
