Description
Camping Out Clarabelle Cow and Fly Swatter Animation Drawings Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1934). Clarabelle arms herself with a fly swatter when a swarm of mosquitoes invade the picnic in this sequence of three original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings. David Hand-directed this lively short which was released on 2/17/1934. Clarabelle is finding out her swatter is no match for the army of mosquitoes, but she starts out ready for the attack in these images, which are in graphite with red pencil (the mosquito wings in the first two drawings). The drawings are noted in the lower right corners as 105 (approximate image size 5.25" x 5"), 110 (6" x 5"), and 161 (5.75" x 5" for main image). The art is in Very Good with minor handling and edge wear, with mild age-related paper toning.Auction Info
