Building a Building Minnie Mouse Animation Drawings Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1933). Minnie goes about selling her fifteen-cent box lunches at the construction site where Mickey Mouse operates a steam shovel, in this set of three original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings. This David Hand-directed short also features Peg Leg Pete as Mickey's easily-angered foreman; it was released on 1/7/33. These are great drawings of Minnie as she happily skips along with her basket of boxes, holding one up as she sings "bologna, macaroni, and a huckleberry pie." This sequence begins at the 1:27 mark as she makes her way along a girder, and concludes at the 1:29 mark when the wind blows her hat off. The drawings are in graphite with nicely-detailed full-figure images of Minnie; her figure size is 3.75" (drawing #68), 3.25" (#80), and 3" (#112). The paper is lightly toned, and all three drawings have reinforced pegholes. Handling and edge wear, with a small tear near the number on drawing #68; Good to Very Good condition.
