Description
Building a Building Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). This short was a remake of the 1928 Oswald the Lucky Rabbit short Sky Scrapers. The short was the first directorial turn for David Hand. It was nominated for an Academy Award but lost to Disney's The Three Little Pigs. Here is an outstanding original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing of Mickey Mouse removing the bones to make his sandwich. This can be seen at the 03:53 mark when lunch bell rings, just as he is battling Pete. The short was released on 1/7/33. Great graphite image with red highlights of 3". Nice gag! The number 21 is written in the bottom right corner. Mild age-related toning and edge wear. Very Good condition.Auction Info
