Building a Building Mickey and Minnie Mouse Production Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1933). This is a pair of finely detailed production drawings from Dave Hand's directorial debut which garnered an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Short. In the first drawing, Mickey prepares a fish sandwich on his lunch break. This image can be seen around the 3:24 minute mark. Mickey measures 5" x 3.5" and is rendered in graphite on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper with the number 47 written in the bottom right corner. The fish skeleton is priceless. The second drawing is a full-figure of Minnie carrying a picnic basket full box lunches. Her hat has just blown off and Mickey retrieves it with the use of his steam shovel. You can see this exact image at the 1:05 mark. She stands 3.5" tall, rendered in graphite on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper and is numbered 82. Both drawings show minor handling; otherwise Condition is Fine.
