Bugs Bunny Fan Sketch by Friz Freleng (Walt Disney, 1938).
This is a superb sketch from a true animation legend, Isadore "Friz" Freleng. During his long illustrious career, Friz, often credited as I. Freleng, directed over 266 cartoons while winning five Academy Awards and three Emmys. Friz was nicknamed Congressman Frizby by Hugh Harman, the founder of Warner Brothers Animation Studio. Over time it was shortened to Friz. He was known by that name until his passing in 1995. This wonderful sketch was rendered using graphite and mixed media on 11" x 15.25" animation paper. The piece is framed with glass for an overall size of 15.75" x 19.25". The frame is sold as-is. The artwork is in Very Good condition.
