Description

Brave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse and Gustav the Giant Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). Mickey becomes a skilled tailor tasked with defeating a giant in this 1938 short directed by Wolfgang Reitherman (1909 - 1985). He is joined in this wonderful pair of 12 field 5-peghole graphite drawings by the antagonist of the short, Gustav the Giant. Mickey leans out of Gustav's sleeve in the first drawing, smiling as he waves his hat to get the giant's attention. In the second drawing Gustav lifts his arm, glaring at Mickey. These moments can be found at roughly 7:47 and 7:48. The first drawing measures about 4.25'' x 3.75'' while the second has an impressive measurement of about 9.25'' x 8''. The two are numbered 50 and 18. Some edge and handling wear with light age-related toning, superficial wrinkles, and faint smudging. Good to Very Good condition for this incredible pair of drawings.
