DescriptionBosko Comic Illustration Page (MGM, c. 1930s). Hugh Harmon and Rudolf Ising took their Warner Brothers character Bosko and re-designed him when they moved to MGM. The team made 37 animated shorts from 1934-38 for this studio. His first MGM appearance was in Bosko's Parlor Party on 11/24/34. This is a rare published comic/magazine illustration page that promoted an early MGM version of Harmon/Ising's Bosko as well as their Happy Harmonies cartoon series. The bottom half of the page is a segment on "How Animated Cartoons Are Made." This particular page talks about sound effects. This beautiful ink on Bristol board page is 14" x 20.5". Minor handling and edge wear, center crease line from previous fold, some moisture damage along bottom edge. Overall Good condition.
