Description

Boat Builders Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). "All you do is put it together." Mickey, Donald and Goofy commence the construction of a build-your-own-boat from the Ready-Cut Folding Boat Company in this Ben Sharpsteen-directed cartoon that hit theaters in the winter of '38. Offered in this lot is an original animation drawing of Mickey as he opens the telescoping mast box at the 1:37 mark. The 5" x 5" full-figure image is rendered in graphite and red pencil on 12 field 5-peghole paper and numbered 52 in the lower right corner. It's a large and nicely centered drawing of a classic late '30s Mickey from his 99th big screen appearance. Very minor edge wear and light paper toning along the outer borders. Very Good condition
