Bill Plympton The Simpsons Season 19 DVD Box Set Animation Drawings Sequence of 3 (Fox, 2019). The whole Simpson family hits the road in this sequence of original animation drawings by animator Bill Plympton used in the Simpsons season 19 DVD box set. Mr. Plympton's extensive catalog of work includes animation and illustration for publications such as the New York Times, Rolling Stone, and National Lampoon as well as dozens of independent animated shorts. He is one of Matt Groening's favorite animators and has produced six opening couch gags for The Simpsons television series. Presented here is a sequence of three original animation drawings by Bill Plympton used in the opening animation of disc 1 in the DVD box set. Each is beautifully rendered in colored pencil on 12 field 3-peghole paper, numbered 20 to 22 and signed by the artist in the lower right. No cels were used in the making of this animated sequence, this is the actual artwork drawn by Bill Plympton and filmed. These are a remarkable set of drawings of the entire Simpson family by one of today's most iconic independent animators. The pieces show minor handling and condition is Very Good.
