Bill Melendez - Charlie Brown and Linus Sketch (c. 1990s). Bill Melendez (1918-2008) first started animating Charlie Brown at Playhouse Pictures, where he worked on a series of Ford Falcon animated TV commercials in 1959. He would go on to form his own studio where he, Charles Schulz, and Charlie Brown and the Peanuts characters would make animated history for decades. This is a great sketch from the hand of Bill Melendez of Charlie Brown and Linus, done at one of his many gallery appearances. It is matted with an opening size of 10" x 6.5" (for the art) and framed with Plexiglas, including a photo of Bill and a signed print that reads From the Office of Bill Melendez. Fine condition.
