Berserk: Golden Age Arc I - The Egg of the King Guts Animation Drawing (Studio 4°C, 2012). The tough Guts receives a fierce blow from Griffith in this lot, showcasing a great image from the movie Berserk: Golden Age Arc I - The of the King, the first entry to the 2012 trilogy. Adapting the popular arc in the series (The Golden Age Arc), telling the tragic story of Guts joining the Band of the Falcon and its horrifying downfall, the 2012 trilogy is widely acclaimed by fans and critics due to its great cinematic take on the storyline of the dark fantasy manga by Kentaro Miura (1966- 2021). The young Guts winces in pain as he receives a hit from the pommel of Griffith's sword in this animation drawing from the famous fight to decide if Guts will join the Band of the Falcon, seen at the 24:10 mark of the movie. Numbered A2 on the right side, the animation drawing is rendered in graphite with colored pencil shading and highlights, also showing in red color pencil the kinetic effect of the sword and the drops of sweat flying off from Guts, all occupying a magnificent image size of 13" x 7". The drawing has a very light vertical fold crease through the middle of the sheet. With minor handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition
