Ben and Me Storyboard Drawings by Bill Peet (Walt Disney, 1953). These wonderful storyboard drawings for this Academy Award nominated short are by legendary Disney Studio story man Bill Peet (1915 - 2002). In the handwritten notes amongst the dialog, the piece is labeled as scene 178 which can be viewed at the 20:25 mark in this Ham Lusk-directed short. The board consists of five panels ranging in size from 2.5" x 3.5" to 4.5" x 6", rendered in Conte' crayon, and taped to a sheet of 16 field 3-peghole paper. It's very rare to find Disney production artwork that can be attributed to a specific artist, especially one as notable as Mr. Peet. The piece shows handling, small fold creases, and pinholes in the corners. Condition is Very Good.
