DescriptionBeep Prepared Wile E. Coyote Layout Drawing (Warner Brothers, 1961). A wild 12 field layout drawing of Wile E. Coyote (hungrii flea-baggius), cooking up another scheme that no doubt will go horribly wrong. This rough drawing is from the hand of Mr. Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). This short was directed by Chuck Jones AND Maurice Noble; it was the only Road Runner/Wile E. short to earn an Oscar nomination. It was released to theaters on 11/11/61. You can see this scene art about the 4:54 mark, when Wile E. goes to tie the trip-wire rope back together and sets off two machine guns on himself, "cutting him down to size." Graphite on 12 field animation paper. Great action image measuring 7". This scene was cut from some TV versions; the restored version can be found on Looney Tunes Platinum Collection: Volume 3. Minor handling; Fine condition.
