DescriptionBeauty and the Beast Lumière Animation Drawings Sequence of 14 (Walt Disney, 1991). "The Casanova of all candelabras." Lumière is a kind-hearted, charismatic, yet rebellious servant of the Beast in Walt Disney's 30th animated feature film. Beauty and the Beast was directed by Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise with Don Hahn serving as the film's producer. In this lot we have a sequence of 14 amazing rough animation drawings of Lumière. The roughs are used for pencil tests to be approved by the director. These are nice large images measuring approximately 6" x 7". The work was rendered in blue pencil on 16 field animation paper. Animation art from Beauty and the Beast is rare and highly sought after because the film did not use any traditional animation cels in the production of the picture. These drawings are original working production art and therefore shows some edge wear from normal handling and use. Condition is Very Good.
