Description
Beauty and the Beast "Be Our Guest" Mrs. Potts Animation Drawing Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1991). "While the cups do their soft shoein', I'll be bubbling, I'll be brewing!" Three rare 16 field animation rough drawings of Mrs. Potts. The roughs were created using blue pencil on 16 field animation paper. These large, full-figure images come from the "Be Our Guest" song sequence of the film. The level-headed Mrs. Potts is perhaps the most reliable member of the Beast's staff. Though she fears his violent outbursts, Mrs. Potts' stern attitude also has a strong effect on the Beast, who appears to respect his head housekeeper the most out of all his servants. Mrs. Potts was voiced by Angela Lansbury in Disney's 1991 feature animated film, Beauty and the Beast, which was the third film released during the era known as the Disney Renaissance (1989 - 1999). These very rare images measure about 5" tall each and are original working production art pieces; therefore, they show some edge wear from normal handling and use. Overall condition is Very Good, with minor toning and smudging. The pegholes are taped onto the bottom edge of each drawing.Auction Info
