Beach Picnic Original Illustration by Hank Porter (Walt Disney, c. 1940s). Donald and Pluto's swimming trip to the beach is interrupted by a swarm of hungry ants, among other things in the Disney cartoon short, Beach Picnic. Hank Porter (1900 - 1951) did the art from 1941 to 1944 for the Good Housekeeping project. Hank Porter was a staff artist of the Disney Publicity Art Department from 1935 to 1950. This Hank Porter original was rendered in pen and ink with gouache on board. The image area measures about 6" x 6". The piece is enclosed in a frame of 14" x 10.5" with a specially cut matboard of 9.25" x 6.25". Frame sold as-is. A great Hank Porter original! Condition is Very Good.
