Batman: The Animated Series "Shadow of the Bat Part I" Batgirl Preliminary Storyboard Sketch (Warner Brothers, 1993). "So Batman can't help me? Fine. In that case... let's see what Batgirl can do." Batgirl is ready to guard Gotham in this stunning preliminary storyboard for the episode "Shadow of the Bat Part I" from the acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series. Attributed to the renowned Ronnie del Carmen, this staggering image of Batgirl was created to plan the pan shot at the 21:34 mark of the episode, during the closing scene. Widely known for his work in the animation industry, Ronnie is known for his work as a storyboard artist in Pixar movies like Ratatouille and Coco, as well as co-directing Inside Out. This gorgeous image of the valiant heroine is created in blue color pencil and measures a great figure size of 4" x 9.25" on 10.5" x 12.5" paper. This lot includes five studio-used prints of the image, including a more finalized print of the storyboard. Overall, the lot shows minor handling and edge wear from production.
