    Description

    Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile Painted Illustration (Warner Brothers, 1992). One of the most loved aspects of Batman: The Animated Series was the redesign of the Batmobile. This may be one of the single most impressive pieces of artwork of that redesign. This is an original published painting of the Batmobile with Batman, Robin, Alfred in the Batcave. This is page 21 from the Little Brown and Company book entitled Batman: The Joker's Apprentice. This impressive painting is from the hand of John Calmette, a background painter on this series as well as the man who designed the show's logo. He also did many of the covers for the Batman/Superman comic books from this series. The airbrushed painting is on 17" x 21" illustration board. The Batmobile is an amazing 12" long. The artist has signed the published painting in bottom right border. A copy of the book is also included, with the page 21 illustration hand-signed by the artist. The painting is in Fine condition.
