Batman Beyond Batman Layout Drawing (Warner Brothers, c. 1999-2001). Batman Beyond continues the story of Batman: The Animated Series, this time with Terry McGinnis, a delinquent teenager taking up the mantle of Batman in place of an aging Bruce Wayne, set in Neo-Gotham in the year 2039. Although the initial announcement of the series drew mixed reactions, Batman Beyond went on to receive critical acclaim and a significant cult following. Presented is a fantastic layout drawing of Terry McGinnis as Batman in the middle of a fight as he stands up. A layout drawing is used during production to plan camera angles and character's positioning and movement. This layout drawing of the new Batman is rendered in graphite with blue pencil on animation paper, it shows animator's notes in graphite, red pencil, and green marker. Displayed in the bottom right corner is a WB stamp. The layout drawing has light handling wear from production, with some crumpling in the top right corner. Included with this lot is a Warner Brothers COA. Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
