Barnacle Bill Betty Boop Animation Drawing Original Art (Max Fleischer, 1930). "Who's that knocking at my door?" sings Betty Boop. It's Barnacle Bill the Sailor, played by Bimbo, at her door! This is a rare layout rough drawing of a dog-eared Betty Boop (named Nancy Lee in this early short) on her couch with her cat next to her. You can see this image with Barnacle Bill around the 4:31 into the film. This drawing is from Betty Boop's second cartoon. The art is from the hand of Grim Natwick (1890-1990). This cartoon was directed by Dave Fleischer. Betty Boop on the couch is a nice image, with a size of 6" x 5". Art is in graphite on 12 field 3-top peghole paper. It's one of the earliest pieces of Betty Boop animation art we have ever seen! This historic piece of animation art is in a Plexiglas-front frame measuring 12" x 10". Frame is sold as-is. Condition is Very Good.
