Bambi Photographic Thumbnail Storyboards (Walt Disney, 1942). This is a collection of storyboard thumbnails from the Disney feature film Bambi. Two of the sheets are from the opening sequence where Bambi is introduced to the other forest creatures. The pages line up numerically side by side and are on 13.5" x 9.5" sheets of photographic paper. In addition, there are three photo album pages containing a sequence of 76 images titled "Owl is Disturbed by a Squirrel and Chipmonk" (sic). They're 2" x 2.5" thumbnail photos, applied individually, or in strips, to both front and back of the 14.5" x 11" pages. These are photos of the storyboards as they hung in the animation department, and if you look closely, you can see the pushpins that are holding them to the wall. The pieces show some minor handling wear; otherwise, condition is Very Good. From the Cecil Beard Archives.
