Bambi Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1942).
"Hi ya Bambi....Watch what I can do! Come on....It's alright...the water's stiff", says Thumper to Bambi as he slides out onto the ice. This is an original 12 field, 5 peghole animation drawing of Bambi from when he follows Thumper onto the ice. It is a very detailed image from a fun scene. Drawn in graphite with red and blue highlights, Bambi measures 3.5" x 5". The drawing is signed by Disney Legend Inductee and one of Walt's "Nine Old Men", Marc Davis (1913 - 2000). Marc did extensive story and concept work of all the animals on this film. The piece is framed with a mat opening of 7" x 10" in a 15.5" x 17.5" frame. Condition is Fine.
