    Babes in Toyland Storyboard Art Group of 49 (Walt Disney, 1961). This live-action film starred Ray Bolger in his first villain role as Barnaby. It also starred Tommy Kirk, Annette Funicello, Tom Piper, and Mary Contrary. Ed Wynn played the Toymaker. The film opened on 12/14/61. This is a rare set of 49 storyboards showing Barnaby shrinking the Toymaker with his shrinking gun and locking him up in a bird cage along with his henchman. This group includes 32 storyboard drawings in detailed graphite and ink on paper measuring 10" x 5.5". They display Barnaby, the Toymaker, and Barnaby's henchman. Pinholes in corners, Very Good condition. Also included is another set of 17 storyboards done in a different hand, with graphite and Conte crayon/charcoal showcasing all the characters in many different scenes. Paper is a multitude of sizes. This second set has minor handling wear, pinholes, and tape for dialogue below artwork. Good condition. From the Joe Hale Collection.
