DescriptionAtlantis: The Lost Empire Mrs. Packard Animation Drawings Group of 15 (Walt Disney, 2001). In Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Mrs. Packard participates in the expedition that locates the Shepherd's Journal in Iceland. Packard serves as communications officer for the expedition to Atlantis, making announcements when she had to while being on the phone with one of her friends. Aboard the Ulysses, she is able to pick up the strange radio signal that belongs to the Leviathan before being ordered to make the announcement for all hands to abandon ship. In this group of 15 animation rough drawings we see Packard with her radio headset on. In traditional animation, the first drawings are called roughs or rough drawings because they are often done in a very loose fashion. The roughs are used for pencil tests to be approved by the director. This is a fantastic collection of roughs rendered in blue pencil on 16 field animation paper with Packard measuring approximately 7" x 7". Five of the roughs have the animator's timing sheet notations on the right side of the page. This is a wonderful collection of animation roughs and would be a fantastic acquisition for any discerning collector of animation art. These rough drawings are actual working production art and thus show some mild edge wear from normal handling and use. Condition is Very Good.
