Description

Atlantis, The Lost Empire Milo Thatch Deleted Scene Animation Drawings Signed by John Pomeroy Sequence of 4 (Walt Disney, 2001). When we first meet Milo Thatch, he is in his basement "office," explaining his theory that Atlantis was located off Iceland to a group of top-hatted... skeletons, statues, and other inanimate objects! This scene had been planned to last a bit longer, and here is a rare deleted sequence of four original animation drawings of Milo as he pretends to field questions from his mock group, with whom he is practicing requesting personnel and equipment for an expedition to find Atlantis. The graphite images were created by supervising animator John Pomeroy. The drawings, on animation paper measuring 17" x 12.5", are noted as 9, 19, 25, and 37 in the lower right corners; average image size is 4.25" x 9". Each drawing has been hand-signed by John Pomeroy. A Howard Lowery Certificate of Authenticity and a photocopy of a studio exposure sheet are included. Art condition is Very Good to Fine with light handling.
