    Description

Atlantis: The Lost Empire Milo Thatch Concept Drawing (Walt Disney, 2001).
Atlantis: The Lost Empire was the first science fiction film from the Walt Disney Studios. Many centuries ago, a rogue wave threatened to drown the island of Atlantis. In the midst of an evacuation from the capital city, the Queen of Atlantis is caught by a strange, hypnotic blue light and lifted up into the "Heart of Atlantis". Atlantis: The Lost Empire was the 41st animated feature film from the Walt Disney Studios and released on 6/3/01. The film was directed by Kirk Wise and Gary Trousdale and produced by Don Hahn. At the peak of its production, 350 animators, artists and technicians were working on Atlantis at all three Disney animation studios: Burbank, California, Orlando, Florida and Paris. Included among the animators is John Pomeroy. From Atlantis: The Lost Empire we have a superb concept drawing of Milo Thatch by John Pomeroy. The drawing was rendered in graphite on 16 field animation paper and signed by the artist. The piece is in a frame of 21.5" x 17.25". Frame sold as-is. Fine condition.
