Animal Original Signed Sesame Street Children's Book Art (Jim Henson Publishing, 1999).
"Do not push when waiting in line for a movie... And never cut the line." Original concept pencil sketch of Animal parachuting in from the Muppet Lift-the-Flap Book - Muppet Manners. This piece is signed by the artist Rick Brown -- longtime Sesame Street Magazine artist who, in the 1980s, became the leading artist for Muppets children's books. This graphite drawing of Animal on tracing paper stands approximately 5.25" tall and is matted with an image area of 8.25" x 5" with the mat measuring 12.25" x 9" overall. Some light creases in the paper and basic handling; otherwise condition is Fine. A close representation of this sketch can be found under the flap on the 13th page of the book. A color copy of that page is included. This is a tremendous full-figure image of Animal in all his glory. All original Muppet artwork is considered rare.
