Description

Alpine Climbers Mickey Mouse Animation Drawings Sequence of 2 (Walt Disney, 1936). Mickey goes out on a limb and gleefully gathers some eggs without noticing Mama Eagle angerly watching in this pair of original 12 field animation drawings. Put 'em back, Mickey! This Dave Hand-directed short co-starred Donald Duck and Goofy, along with Pluto and Bolivar, the St. Bernard rescue dog. It was released in theaters on 7/25/1936. The first of these two drawings is noted as 75 and the image appears at about the 2:18 timestamp. This graphite drawing has a small green pencil highlight and an overall approximate size of 3.5" x 3.75". The second drawing of sheepish Mickey smiling at the upset bird is seen at about the 2:27 mark; this graphite image has a blue pencil highlight and measures 3.5" x 4.25" with 65A written in the lower right. The drawings are in Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear plus mild age-related paper toning.
