Description

Alpine Climbers Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1936). Donald challenges the mother eagle in this terrific 12-field 5-peghole animation drawing, from the Dave Hand-directed short. It's in graphite with red and blue pencil highlights. The combined image area is a huge 10" x 5.5", with Donald at 3.5" in length. The number 73 is written in the bottom right corner, and curiously, the initials CB under that -- Carl Barks did some of the animation for this short, and this could be from his hand. Fine condition.
