All Dogs Go to Heaven Storyboard Art (Don Bluth, 1989). "Why settle for a couple of bones, when you can have the whole steak", says Charlie as he hits the jackpot of steaks at the slot machine. This animated feature film was directed by Don Bluth and released on 11/17/89. It went on to become one of the best-selling VHS tapes of all time. It also had its own sequel, holiday TV special, and its own television series. This is an amazing set of six extremely detailed, hand-painted storyboards from the opening Carface and Charlie casino sequence (Sequence 35), with the highly stylized Rat Race. This is also during the "You Can't Keep a Good Dog Down" musical sequence. The artwork was created using gouache on storyboard panels. An acetate cel is over the artwork. Panels ranged from 8" - 5" and one pan storyboard panel of 14" x 5". Each panel is a mini-masterpiece with Charlie appearing in five of them. This has great casino images of crap table, slot machine, and three steaks-wining slot machine close-up. Minor handling and tape on border; artwork is in Very Good condition.
